The Story
MISSION STATEMENT:
The Josh Gibson Heritage Park Foundation realizes the tremendous value and positive influence of the Josh Gibson Legacy. This park is here to help educate, support, and preserve the story of Josh Gibson and the Negro Leagues. In addition, this will provide a resource to further connect to our community and others who visit the Pittsburgh area. By understanding the amazing achievements of these ball players, we hope to inspire our youth of today to strive for their own legacies and life fulfilling accomplishments.
The Park
Located at Station Square Josh Gibson Heritage Park is on land donated by Forest City Commercial Group and is be free and open to the public and will allow visitors to relive the history and culture of Negro League baseball in Pittsburgh
